#16 Justin Brantly

With the departure of my favorite player Terrence Murphy I went in search of a new player to stake claim to as my boy. After the Texas State game, our third contest of the season, I realized that our freshman punter was averaging over 47 yards/punt and my seach came to an end.

In the big scheme of things punters don't really get a tremendous amount of love but in a sport that cherishes field position, the punter is often the unsung hero who saves an offense that can't get a drive going.

Pre-Texas A&M

The 6'-3", 218 lb. punter came to Texas A&M from Sealy High School where he played QB and TE as well as handling his punting duties. He was a two time All-State selection as a punter and was one of the top punting recruits in the state.
